Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig in Tibetan), is renowned as the embodiment of compassionate activity. The mantra of Chenrezig is the most widely recited mantra in Tibetan Buddhism and has great power for developing a good heart.

The retreat begins with supper on Tuesday 27th December and finishes on January 1st after breakfast. This is a wonderful way to end the old year and start the new.

The retreat is a wonderful opportunity to awaken our own buddha nature, an extensive wisdom and deep compassion, which enables us sincerely to benefit others, without attachment. No particular requisites for attending other than a wish to generate a positive attitude to benefit others.
