On April 6th participants from FPMT centres, services and projects across the globe will come together at Kopan monastery for the Council for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition. This event comes at a key time for the FPMT, as we mark two years since Spiritual Director Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s passing. Below are links to the presentations prepared for the CPMT by the various Australian FPMT groups and individuals.

The presentation from the Australian hospice group can be viewed HERE. Their session asked ‘“Older people are often a neglected part of our community. Whilst palliative care services support those who are sick and dying, is there a way that we can increase our care to our older community? Can we create a greater sense of connection with them whether they are part of our dharma family or part of the broader community? What can we do and what obstacles might we face? “
FPMT in Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders, past, present and future, as well as all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples – their Country, Culture, and Community.
