RARE BUDDHIST RELICS on PUBLIC DISPLAY

We are delighted to announce the very first visit of the Maitreya Heart Shrine Relic Tour to Australia & New Zealand in May & June 2010. This is a rare opportunity to view these relics, which were found among the cremation ashes of Buddhist masters. They resemble beautiful pearl-like crystals. Buddhists believe the relics embody the master’s spiritual qualities of compassion and wisdom and have been deliberately produced by the master so that all may share in their blessing. Again this year, the IMI community of monks and nuns will offer recitations and prayers, including the Sutra of Golden Light as part of International Sangha Day on July 25th, 2009 and our ongoing dedication to keeping the Buddha's teachings alive, and inspiring others with values of ethical behavior, tolerance, compassion and wisdom.

He has led many of the famous one month Lam-rim courses at Kopan in Nepal.
