The Heart Sutra is one of the most famous and revered texts in all of the Buddhist
scriptures. In the style of a brief conversation between two of Buddha’s most
notable disciples, Avalokiteshvara and Shariputra, the truth of emptiness is gently
revealed.

The retreat will begin with an introduction from the resident Western Teacher; Tenzin Tsepal
followed with teachings from Geshe Jamyang at Chenrezig Institute; a centre for Tibetan
Buddhist study, meditation, retreat, and practice nestled in the foothills of the Sunshine Coast
Hinterland in Queensland, Australia
